Head of Sites & Partners Norway
Job description
Do you want to be part of the green transition and actively shaping the most advanced EV charging market in the world? Recharge is one of the leading EV charging operators in the Nordics and a pioneer in the e-Mobility sector since 2011.
We are now looking for a Head of Sites & Partners Norway to take end to end responsibility for our most important and complex market. Norway represents the largest share of our commercial activity and is the most mature EV market globally, with a dense, competitive charging landscape, complex partnerships and a significant portfolio mix of state-of the art and legacy sites.
This is a senior, high-impact role reporting directly to the Chief Commercial Officer, combining strategic leadership with hands-on commercial ownership. You will lead a team of three direct reports, with the organization expected to double in size over the next couple of years as the Norwegian market continues to evolve.
To succeed in this role, you need strong commercial judgment, experience navigating complex partner ecosystems and the ability to optimize and evolve a mature infrastructure portfolio while still driving new growth. We also believe you care deeply about electrification and are driving an electric vehicle. You will work closely with teams across investment, operations, pricing, product and sales, as well as with key partners across Norway. The role is part of the Commercial Leadership Team and has significant influence on how Recharge allocates capital and evolves its network in its most critical market.
Key responsibilities
This role combines commercial leadership, partner management, site performance, origination and market specific network strategy. You will lead a growing team while remaining close to the business in a market characterized by high utilization, strong competition and long-standing partner relationships.
Leadership & Team Development
- Lead, coach and develop the Norwegian Sites & Partners team
- Set clear priorities, ways of working and commercial standards for the market
- Build a high performing team capable of managing both legacy complexity and future growth
- Act as a senior sparring partner to the Chief Commercial Officer and other leaders
Site Partner Management
- Own and develop strategic partnerships across Norway, including complex and long-standing partner relationships
- Act as the partner’s voice internally and balance partner needs against internal requirements for profitability, scalability and operational excellence
- Manage legacy agreements while evolving partnerships to fit future commercial and network needs
Site Performance & Portfolio Optimization
- Own the financial performance of the Norwegian site portfolio
- Monitor and analyze revenues, costs, utilization and RoI outcomes across a mature network
- Drive optimization initiatives across legacy and newer sites, including renegotiations, upgrades and portfolio adjustments
- Ensure capital is deployed where it delivers the strongest long-term returns
Partner Pipeline & Origination
- Together with existing partners, identify additional sites within their portfolios suitable for charging infrastructure as well as extending already built sites
- Proactively originate new sites and partnerships in Norway’s competitive landscape
- Initiate dialogue with property owners, commercial actors, municipalities and strategic partners
- Drive opportunities from first contact to decision ready business cases
Network Strategy Norway
- Own and execute a Norway-specific site and network strategy aligned with overall company priorities
- Assess geography, demand, grid constraints, network effects and competitive dynamics
- Ensure the Norwegian network continues to develop with the right balance between utilization, quality and capital efficiency
Success factors
- Several years of experience in senior commercial roles such as business development, partner management or portfolio ownership
- Experience from capital-intensive industries such as energy, infrastructure, real estate, telecom or similar
- Proven track record from complex, long-term B2B partnerships
- Strong understanding of CAPEX, OPEX, ROIC, IRR, payback and lifecycle value
- Experience with people leadership is required
- Academic degree in a relevant field such as business, engineering or economics
- Experience from e-Mobility, energy or infrastructure is a strong plus
- Advanced language skills in Nordic languages and English
- Driver’s license
- Drives an EV
You demonstrate strong commercial judgment and the ability to make sound decisions in a highly mature and competitive market. You bring proven leadership experience from smaller or mid-sized organizations, along with a structured and analytical mindset that enables portfolio-level thinking.

You effectively translate operational and technical realities into clear commercial outcomes, and you are comfortable operating both strategically and hands-on in a fast-moving environment.
