About the Role
We are looking for a process engineer who is passionate about finding and deploying reliable solutions for the world’s great sustainability challenges at our headquarters in Asker. Within this position at Cambi, you will be responsible for identifying and developing opportunities for Upgrade projects at operational Cambi’s plants around the world. You will be a part of a competent team working towards implementation of new technologies, products and carbon reducing solutions for our existing clients. Additionally, this role will involve site visits and active engagement in client and supplier communication, ensuring effective partnerships throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
Identify and develop opportunities for Upgrade projects in close collaboration with our Key Account Mangers (“KAMs”) for clients with operational plants:
- Data collection of current plant performance. Preparing process calculations showing technical and financial benefits of Upgrade project. Validating and demonstrating business cases to the clients.
Drive technical sales through data analysis, concept designs, product presentations and collaborating in interdisciplinary team to develop solutions tailored to customer needs, while aligning with company objectives.
Develop proposals for Upgrade projects:
- Participate in the multidiscipline team shaping the commercial proposals for Upgrade projects. Establish preliminary projects schedules and resource allocation needs.
- Gather input for pricing and commercial conditions.
- Bring the lead from proposal through contract definition to signature.
Manage aftermarket sales pipeline through CRM.
You will find yourself in the center of one of Cambi’s strategic growth areas, having critical impact on the further development of Cambi’s Upgrades business.

Requirements
A Master’s (MSc), or equivalent degree in Process/Mechanical/Chemical/Environmental Engineering.
>3 years of relevant work experience.
Experience from wastewater-, pulper and paper- or agriculture industry would be an advantage.
Comfortable with working in national, international and multicultural environments.
