Make an Impact: Join Us as Interim Sustainability Manager
About the team
The Group Sustainability team consists of six dedicated employees located in Norway and Finland. The working language is English. The Group Sustainability team works closely with the dedicated responsible colleagues within the different business areas of NG Nordic and is, among others, responsible for:
- Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, including the EU CSRD and ESRS
- Developing and following up on the sustainability strategy and Impact Roadmap across the Group
- Strengthening insight, quality, and decision-making related to climate and environmental impacts
We are now looking for a sustainability manager to join our team, to fill a temporary position due to parental leave.
Your role
As Sustainability Manager, you will have a central role in developing and strengthening our climate-related work across the Group and ensure our reporting is timely and correct. You will work closely with our business areas, operational teams, and sustainability specialists.
Your main responsibilities will be:
- Quarterly GHG and impact reporting and analysis of trends and performance against targets
- Set requirements for, guide, and support business areas in preparing complete and verifiable climate accounts aligned with Group guidelines
- Consolidate GHG and impact results at Group level and ensure high-quality reporting
- Participate in networks on impact and sustainability across the Group
- Support other processes in the impact team with ad-hoc analysis and other reporting tasks, e.g. EU Taxonomy
Who are we looking for?
You are motivated by creating structure, clarity, and insight in a complex field — and by helping the business make better climate- and sustainability-related decisions. You enjoy collaborating across teams and are comfortable working both operationally and strategically.
We would like you to have:
- Higher education in a relevant field
- 2–5 years of experience from a similar role or field, preferably within sustainability, consulting, auditing, or industry
- Experience with greenhouse gas accounting and familiarity with CSRD/ESRS
- Analytical skills and the ability to work with large and complex datasets
- The ability to translate technical or regulatory complexity into clear and actionable insights
- Knowledge of relevant frameworks such as the GHG Protocol, TCFD, TNFD, the EU Taxonomy, and similar initiatives
- Experience with project management is an advantage
Most importantly, you are curious, proactive, and motivated by contributing to meaningful change — and you see the commercial potential in improved climate and nature performance.
We offer
The position is located at our office in Lysaker outside Oslo, with flexibility regarding working hours and workplace. And with us, you will get:
- Competitive terms and conditions
- Flexible working hours with the option of working from home
- The opportunity to join a forward-looking industry where sustainability and technology play an increasingly important role
- A strong and collaborative working environment in a team that is excited to shape the future of sustainability at NG Nordic
The deadline for submitting applications is April 3.
