We are looking for a Supply Chain Specialist with a strong commercial mindset, a focus on value creation, and the ability to handle multiple tasks in a dynamic environment. In this role, you will play a key role in strengthening Aibel’s capability within strategic agreements and category management. You will be part of a dedicated team working to develop, maintain, and optimize supplier agreements that support long‑term business needs across multiple locations. In addition,you will contribute to building internal competence, support project execution, and play an important role in meeting the increasing demand for robust and future‑oriented supply chain solutions.
About the position
In this role you will be responsible for establishing and following up frame agreements, developing and managing category plans, and conducting structured supplier management activities, including regular performance review meetings. You will support internal stakeholders in understanding and utilizing agreements effectively, and over time you will also work on establishing subcontracts for projects, supporting tender processes, and ensuring high‑quality subcontract deliverables. This position provides the opportunity to develop multidisciplinary supply chain competence and contribute to long‑term capability building within subcontracting
Qualifications
3–5 years of higher education within economics, law, or engineering
Minimum 5 years of experience in contract management, negotiations, and tender work
In‑depth knowledge of recognized contract standards, including experience with NTK contracts
Experience from large organizations and EPC projects is preferred
Personal qualities
You demonstrate responsibility, integrity, and professionalism, supported by a strong ethical mindset. You are flexible, open, and forward‑looking, with the ability to maintain quality and meet deadlines even during periods of high activity. You communicate clearly and confidently in both Norwegian and English. You bring a strong commercial mindset with solid negotiation skills. You are proactive, collaborative, and able to navigate sourcing processes that involve multidisciplinary teams. With a structured and solution‑oriented approach, you prioritize effectively and deliver high‑quality results. You are an advanced user of Microsoft 365, and experience with SAP is considered an advantage.
