Senior/Advanced Petroleum Engineer

This position is part of Exploration and Reservoir Development in Aker BP, either as a part of our operated assets, our new large Yggdrasil development or in our central Petroleum Engineering Excellence unit.
Typical work tasks can be:
Digitalise our petroleum system optimisation.
Plan/use our surveillance system to optimise production and injection.
Identify and evaluate new production opportunities to maximise value creation.
Design well completions for best possible production and injection.
Contribute to development of new technology to improve our business.
Skills and qualifications:
Master's degree within Petroleum or similar. Relevant experience can compensate for education.
Minimum 10 years' experience within petroleum engineering; field development or operations support.
Experienced practitioner: software proficient but with analytical skills to understand the limitations of the simulations.
