Mission Alliance is strengthening results- and knowledge-driven programming across our international portfolio. As Global Impact Advisor (MERL), you will lead the development of our global results and learning framework and support country teams and the Oslo office to generate high-quality evidence for decision-making, accountability, and impact.
The Global Impact Advisor will be responsible for MERL across all countries and donors in setting effective routines for evidence, results and learning. This role contributes to the organisational strategic direction, supports informed decision-making and adaptive programming through timely quality results, learning and knowledge-sharing.

🎯 In this position, you will:
🟢 Lead design and rollout of Mission Alliance’s MERL system, including a global results frameworkaligned, to our Theory of Change and strategy.
🟢 Strengthen and innovate MERL practice across countries and donors, including routines for evidence, results, and learning.
🟢 Lead implementation of a new digital MERL system for data collection, analysis, aggregation, and visualisation.
🟢 Support country offices to develop tools, indicators, and aligned results frameworks and theories of change.
🟢 Design and implement an organisation-wide Knowledge Management and learning approach.
🟢 Quality assure MERL standards for programme performance, reporting, and institutional funding requirements.
🟢 Plan and manage impact assessments, reviews, and evaluations, and ensure use of findings.

🟢 Relevant higher education.
🟢 Strong experience in monitoring, evaluation, research, and learning (MERL) within international development.
🟢 Proven qualitative and quantitative data collection and analysis skills, and ability to translate findings into decisions and improved programming.
🟢 Experience with donor requirements and programme design (results frameworks, indicators, theories of change).
🟢 Experience with a digital MERL system, including data collection and analysis like Kobo Toolbox, Power BI, statistical/qualitative software and similar.
🟢 Experience building or managing digital MERL systems and dashboards (e.g., database tools, BI, statistical/qualitative software, spreadsheets, visualisation and presentation tools).
🟢 Strong facilitation, coordination, and intercultural communication skills.
🟢 Professional fluency in English.
🟢 Norwegian proficiency; Spanish and/or familiarity with Latin America.
