The La Sportiva Trango Tower Extreme GTX are extremely lightweight alpine climbing boots of the fully crampon-resistant category D. The mountain boot optimally prepared for all technical challenges in steep terrain offers a correspondingly stable sole with mounts for the assembly of automatic crampons. In addition, the midsole has a 9 mm thick insulating layer as well as sufficient cushioning and the proven Vibram® Cube profile sole with zones for maximum grip when climbing and walking on rock and scree.
The Gore-Tex® Insulated Performance lining is reliably waterproof, breathable and its insulating effect protects against the icy cold in the glaciated high mountains. The lightweight upper material, which is made up of specially reinforced, stabilising, abrasion-resistant and flexible inserts, also scores points with its optimal tuning for modern, athletic alpinism.
The Trango Tower Extreme GTX is completed by details such as its high, tight and comfortable shaft or its lacing, which runs right down to the forefoot, for a perfect fit.
