Last chance for private transport in april Netherlands - Norway!
Sorry, long post, please read if you are looking for a horse :-)
Week 16 we are travelling with one of our horses to Norway, and we have space to take another horse so they can travel together <3 Since we need to prepare paperwork for the export and prepare the horses for the travel, it will be the last two weeks for someone to decide on a horse, if they want to use this possibiblty to travel together on a private transport, and share costs.
We have 3 horses available who are looking for their new owner, and all three are amazing Mountain horses, one of them half Mountain Horse. For all our horses: we only sell to homes that can offer a horse friendly life, with space for them to run and play with other horses. Pocono – Gelding, 10 years old – chestnut
Kentucky Mountain Saddle Horse
Very rare opportunity, probably one of the biggest Mountain Horses in Europe! This guy is almost 1,65m height, and the sweetest thing you will ever meet!
Pocono is an amazing horse who came back to us after living in a group for years. Even though he is 9 years old, he is to be considered a young horse when it comes to training. We are currently training him under saddle and he has already proven himself a true mountain horse by how he handles all the new things. In the arena he is very easy going, when you take him outside on the trail you can feel how he is still young in his experience. Therefore we will not sell him to a beginner rider, he needs someone who will help him discover the world, someone he can trust J. He is the most loving and cuddly horse, he is sensible in a good way, and he has sooo much love to give. Someone is going to be really happy with him.
Ne-Yo – Gelding, 2 years old in August, black
Rocky Mountain Horse
Neyo is a stunning black cominug 2 year old out of our Lily and Rocket. He has features of them both, and he can be a bit shy when he does not know you yet. Just like his mom he is a super talented gaiting horse, we see him hit a perfect 4 bout gait in the field often. Obviously he is still young, but he has been in hand as well. He is quite alright with hoof trimming, has been on the horse trailer several times and a couple times tot he forest for a walk. We expect him to develop into a awesome future friend, for many happy memories to come! Expected height, aprox. 1,53-1,57.
Tomtom – Gelding, 9 years old, black
50% Rocky Mountain Horse (x Classic Pony)
Tomtom is a hard sell for us, he came to us when he was just a foal, with his mom and we have raised him since. He is about 1,30m heigh (will have to measure to be exact) and he is the perfect kids pony. He has been trained from the ground and knows a lot of natural horsemanship, as well as some tricks! He is ridden bitless and also knows the beginning of neckrope training. We never trained him with food so he is not in your pockets at all. He jumps, goes on trailrides( together with other horses), went on numerous long walks (alone, with a young girl) into the village, to playgrounds and so on. This horse is not suitable or a kid that can not ride yet. He is very well trained and he loves to work. A kid who does not know how to ride will be a bit too boring for him I am afraid. So he is an excellent horse for a kid that already knows how to ride, and can do a walk, trot and maybe canter. He does walk, trot and canter very nicely, but he does not gait ;-). The girl who rode him all these years is now getting to old for him, and he does not get enough exercise. Which is not good for him, as he loves to do together together, as well as he is half a pony, therefore he gets fat easily when he is not being ridden ;-). So if you are looking for a very nice and well trained pony, he is your guy!
