HVAC Engineer – Offshore Wind

About the position
In this role, you will be responsible for HVAC area engineering within the HVAC module in E3D, contributing to efficient and high‑quality HVAC design in large offshore wind projects. You will prepare ducting ISOs and layout drawings in the E3D Draw module and route ductwork and model equipment to secure optimal system performance. The position collaborates closely with the HVAC Discipline Lead, System Engineers, the HVAC Package Responsible Engineer and the layout team, ensuring seamless integration and coordination across the 3D model. You will also support interaction with other engineering disciplines to deliver consistent and constructible engineering solutions.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or Technical College Diploma
Minimum 3 years of experience within HVAC layout design
Experience with duct routing and HVAC modelling in E3D
Experience with ISO and drawing production in E3D
Familiarity with multidisciplinary engineering environments
Experience from offshore wind or offshore projects is an advantage
Personal qualities
You have strong communication skills and are able to present ideas clearly across teams and disciplines. You work independently with a structured and detail‑oriented approach, while also thriving in collaborative, multicultural project environments. You are proactive, quality‑focused, willing to seek advice when needed, and eager to share knowledge with others. You deliver high‑quality work within deadlines and communicate fluently in English; knowledge of Norwegian is considered a plus.
