We’re seeking an Inside Sales Specialist to join our global team of 11 sales professionals. If you’re commercially minded, enjoy helping teams develop and implement structured systems and processes, and like turning customer challenges into strong commercial solutions, this role could be for you.
About the role
The Inside Sales Specialist supports the sales organization by preparing accurate and competitive commercial quotations for customers. The role involves interpreting complex customer scopes and coordinating with internal teams to develop technically compliant and commercially optimized proposals.
Working closely with Sales, Technical, Projects, and Sourcing teams, the Inside Sales Specialist ensures quotations are delivered in a timely manner and reflect the most competitive and viable offer for the customer.
In addition to quotation preparation, the role supports the development and improvement of internal processes, pricing structures, and tools that enable the sales team to operate efficiently and consistently.
Key responsibilities
Quotation & Commercial Support
Prepare detailed and accurate customer quotations based on complex scopes of work and technical requirements.
Interpret customer RFQs, specifications, and operational requirements to build structured commercial proposals.
Ensure pricing reflects internal cost structures, margin expectations, and commercial strategy.
Coordinate inputs required for quotations including:
Technical scope clarification
Project execution considerations
Equipment availability
Supplier and subcontractor pricing
Clearly document scope assumptions, inclusions, exclusions, and pricing basis.
Cross-Functional Coordination
Liaise with internal departments including Technical, Project Management, Procurement, and Operations to develop comprehensive proposals.
Ensure quotations are technically sound, operationally feasible, and competitively priced.
Facilitate efficient collaboration between departments to meet quotation deadlines.
Sales Team Support
Provide commercial and analytical support to the sales team in the development of proposals and customer offers.
Assist in structuring offers to maximize competitiveness while protecting commercial performance.
Support the sales team with commercial information and analysis during customer engagement.
Process & Tool Improvement
Support the development and continuous improvement of quotation processes, pricing structures, and internal tools.
Identify opportunities to increase efficiency, consistency, and quality in the quotation process.
Maintain and improve pricing data and cost assumptions used in proposal development.
Data & Reporting
Maintain visibility of the quotation pipeline and provide insight into quotation activity.
Support analysis related to win/loss outcomes, pricing performance, and commercial trends.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives through data-driven insights.
Required Skilles & Experience:
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Finance, or a related discipline preferred.
Experience
Experience in inside sales, commercial operations, bid preparation, or sales support roles.
Experience preparing quotations for technical products, equipment, or industrial services is preferred.
Experience working in cross-functional environments involving both technical and commercial stakeholders.
Skills
Strong analytical and numerical capability.
High attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Ability to manage multiple quotation requests simultaneously.
Strong communication and stakeholder coordination skills.
Good commercial awareness and understanding of pricing and margin management.
Technical Skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is essential.
Experience using Power BI and Power Apps would be a strong advantage.
Comfortable working with structured pricing data, quotation models, and analytical reporting.
