As our projects and product portfolio continue to grow, we are now looking for an experienced Mechanical Engineer who enjoys solving complex technical challenges and who takes initiative to move projects forward.
Your responsibilities
As a Mechanical Engineer, you will play a key role in the development of advanced mechanical systems from concept development through testing and lifecycle support.
Your responsibilities will include:
Mechanical concept development and detailed design, including calculations and FEA analysis
Development of mechanical drawings and technical documentation
Configuration control and technical follow-up of components and assemblies
Close collaboration with purchasing, production and prototype assembly teams
Participation in testing and validation of products
Contribution to Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) and technical lifecycle support
Active participation in multidisciplinary engineering teams across the organization
Our projects involve advanced mechanical and electromechanical solutions used in demanding operational environments. These systems must perform reliably in harsh conditions on land and at sea while remaining compact, robust and efficient to produce and maintain.
Your qualifications
We are looking for an engineer who combines solid technical competence with a proactive mindset and the ability to make progress in projects.
Preferred qualifications include
Master’s degree or minimum Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience, preferably from defence, aerospace, maritime, automotive or other advanced industrial environments
Experience with SolidWorks or similar 3D CAD software
Good understanding of mechanical design standards and technical drawings
Experience with mechanical analysis and FEA (SolidWorks Simulation or ANSYS)
Experience working in cross-disciplinary product development teams
Knowledge of defence standards such as MIL-STD-810 or DEF-STAN 00-35 is considered an advantage.

Location
The position is currently based in Nøtterøy, Vestfold, Norway. In summer 2026, the office will relocate to newly renovated facilities in Skoppum, also in Vestfold, just a short walk from the new train station, set to open in August 2026. We also have offices in Oslo (Solli).
