What will you be doing? 

• Responsible for Mechanical Design of products and components

• Creating, checking, and approving materials and drawings according to standards

• Perform tolerance analysis and ensure design-for-manufacture.

• Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, quality, and supply chain.

• Support design reviews and contribute to continuous improvements.

• Prepare and maintain technical documentation and BOMs.

We think you should have: 

• 5 years’ experience in Mechanical Design

• Proficiency with CAD Solidworks and SAP.

• Experience in Design for Manufacturing

• Ability to create, check, and approve mechanical drawings

• Ability to conduct mechanical calculations for design verifications

• Experience from Defence Industry is an advantage

• Proactive and innovative - advantage if the candidate is eligible for a security clearance

• Fluent in English and Norwegian

• BSc in mechanical design or engineering.
   

Working location: Tranby, Oslo
Contract duration: 24.12.2026 with option for extension
