As Aker Solutions’ global recruitment partner NES Advantage are now looking for a: Electrical Engineer (Heat Trace) in Trondheim, Stavanger or Bergen who can help us succeed.

Aker Solutions take care of energy assets in a Life Cycle perspective. From the start to end of production Aker Solutions ensures safe operations, optimizes field utilization, and enables field life-extensions. We do business development and execute modifications and maintenance projects. There is a global trend towards decarbonization, and we aim to help our customers to decarbonize their operations and measure their emissions to manage them more efficiently, for instance by delivering brownfield electrification of existing offshore facilities.

What will you be doing? 

• Perform heat trace calculations 

• As-builts drawings and red line mark-ups received from offshore. 

• Responsible for electrical calculations. 

• Report to Discipline Lead and Engineering Manager all matters of importance. 

• Responsible for Quality and HSSE in own projects. 

• Ensure identification of changes and input to change requests. 

• Offshore survey 

Qualifications we think you should have:

• You have MSc, BSc, Technical College, or other relevant education and experience

• Offshore Course: Valid offshore certificate

• Minimum 2 years' experience from the oil and gas industry. 

• Good knowledge of offshore EIT installations and requirements. 

• Good experience in supplier co-ordination and follow-up. 

• Good experience in as-builts of tags and drawings. 

• Perform estimation work and plan activities 

• Relevant education. 

• Good communicative skills in Norwegian and English

• You can work from Trondheim, Stavanger or Bergen
