A unique honey pot with accompanying lid, featuring a hand decorated slip glaze. The mid-century piece hand thrown in red clay has a traditional ripple colour design on a grass green base. This ‘peacock eye’ pattern is typical of Eastern European ceramics from the Austro-Hungarian legacy and commonly associated with traditional ceramics from the Hungarian town of Troyan. The collectable, vintage vessel would make a wonderful addition to any table setting. Create an impactful display when paired with the matching ceramics as seen in the images.
