For sale: unique Apple iPod Classic 5th gen (often referred to as the "iPod Video"), refurbished: brand new battery and new custom exterior. Incl. 30-pin charging and syncing cable. The black iPod sold, only the white one is available.
The front was custom made by spraying the inside of a transparent faceplate with paint specifically designed for polycarbonates. A sparkle effect is achieved by applying different layers. The result is difficult to capture in pictures, but really pops under direct sunlight! The white iPod reminds me of a snowy landscape. I've not seen anyone else do this and the result is truly unique. The paint is applied to the inside so will not wear off. Best seen in person!
The iPod also features a new chrome back and a brand new high quality aftermarket battery. These devices are 20 years old and the original batteries are all (close to) death by now, the new battery ensures good battery life. Otherwise the iPod is fully original, featuring a 30GB hard drives in good health with 0 reallocated sectors. There's some very light surface scratches on the front (from handling while painting and testing), otherwise this iPod appears close to new.
