Lead Instrumentation Engineer – Metering & Modifications

Job Description

• Detailed design of instrumentation tasks
• Participate in studies
• Estimate instrumentation/metering tasks
• Prepare job packages and follow up on deliveries
• Discipline check of design basis (studies, drawings, and job packages)
• Follow up with suppliers, package responsibility
• Participate in pre-test/FAT at the supplier
• Participate in inspections onshore/offshore
• Able to take on training responsibilities for new engineers
• Perform as-built

Qualification Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Instrumentation/Automation Hardware
• Alternatively, a Technical College degree with extensive experience in VEM
• Grunnleggende EX, minimum 6-8 timer
• FSE høy og lavspent inkl praktisk førstehjelp
• Offshore sertifikat
• Helseattest
• A minimum of 8 years of experience in offshore-related projects
• Strong experience in engineering design
• Proficiency in Norwegian, both spoken and written
• Alternatively, strong English skills, both spoken and written
• Good knowledge of standards such as ATEX, Norsok, Equinor TR (Technical Requirements), STID, ProCoSys, ARIS
• Extensive knowledge of modifications on operational offshore and onshore installations (VEM/prosjekt)
• Strong knowledge of instrumentation used in the oil industry
• Good knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical control systems
• Offshore certification
• Supplier and candidates are expected to openly offer all relevant information about candidates/themselves during the hire-in process

• Supplier and candidates may be asked for information on affiliation to high-risk countries for a security assessment
