Project Engineer

As Reach Subsea continues to grow, we are seeking Project Engineers to strengthen our high-performing engineering team in the Haugesund office. In this onshore role, you will help ensure robust engineering methods and support project execution from planning to offshore operations.

The scope of responsibilities and level of autonomy will be adapted to the candidate’s experience and background. 

We are hiring for this position on an ongoing basis, and candidates will be invited to interviews continuously throughout the process. 

Key responsibilities 

• Engineering and technical delivery of the assigned project scope of work 
• Implement and follow-up engineering work methods 
• Identify and report improvements to the engineering process 
• Ensure lessons learned are collected throughout the project and prepare an experience feedback report at close-out 
• Assist with technical evaluation of tenders and development of method statements 
• Support the Project Manager, Offshore Manager and Shift Supervisors with knowledge gained during planning and execution of offshore operations 

Qualifications 

• BSc or higher within Subsea, Marine/Naval, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent combination of relevant experience and education 
• Offshore safety training as required by Norwegian regulations (Course will be provided by employer) 
• An approved medical certificate for offshore installations and vessels is considered an advantage, though not mandatory. The certificate will be arranged for by the employer.

• Understanding of engineering standards and relevant HSE legislation
