We are looking for a motivated and eager-to-learn General Accountant who wants to develop a career within accounting and finance. The role will support the entire finance department and provide broad exposure to core accounting processes. This position is well suited for candidates early in their career who want to build a strong foundation in accounting and financial operations.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Assist in day-to-day finance activities across accounts payable, accounts receivable, and the general ledger
• Prepare and process invoices to clients, both external and internal
• Maintaining records and assure completeness of these
• Preparing reconciliations
• Assist the rig accountant to maintain the fixed asset register
• Support to during monthly and annual closing processes
• Work collaboratively with internal teams to support accurate and timely financial information
• Contribute to maintain strong internal controls
• Provide assistance to the finance department with daily and ad hoc tasks

Qualifications / Requirements:

• Bachelor degree in Business and Accounting
• Some experience in accounting or finance is an advantage, but not required
• Strong interest in accounting and financial processes
• Basic system understanding and preferably experience with ERP systems
• Good language skills in English writing and oral
• Be familiar with local accounting GAAP, IFRS and accounting system
• Detail-oriented and structured
• Eager to learn and take on new challenges
• Strong collaboration and communication skills
• Responsible and reliable
• Ability to work independently with guidance
