Fender Classic Series '72 Telecaster Deluxe in a 3-Color Sunburst finish (3TS). This model is a popular reissue of the original 1970s guitar, known for its distinctive features and versatile tone.
The Fender Classic Series '72 Telecaster Deluxe combines classic Telecaster elements with features more commonly associated with Gibson guitars of the era, such as dual humbuckers and a four-knob control layout.
Body: The body is crafted from alder, which offers good resonance and a relatively lighter weight than some original models. It also features a "belly cut" contour for comfort, which is not common on standard Telecasters.
Neck and Fingerboard: It has a comfortable "C" shape maple neck with a large '70s-style Stratocaster headstock. The fingerboard is also maple and has a flatter-than-usual 12-inch radius with 21 medium jumbo frets, facilitating easier string bending.
Pickups: The guitar is equipped with a pair of Fender "Wide Range" Humbucking pickups. These pickups deliver a fat, gritty roar that's suitable for a variety of genres including rock, blues, and indie music.
