Sought after hollow body Pat Metheny Signature model PM 120 Made in Japan in Natural colour.
DESCRIPTION:
It’s a top of the line prestige model made in Japan by FujiGen in 2002 and they stopped manufacturing this particular model in 2013, therefore besides being fantastic hollow body jazz box, it is also investment as those only gain value over time.
For 23 years old guitar there is some obvious sign of use, but in general is in very good shape - both visually and technically. There is a minor lacquer crack on the side of the nut visible on the picture, but it’s been there since I’ve bought it in 2020 , and it doesn’t cause any tuning issues, nor neck stability, and neither gets any bigger.
Original tailpiece (included) had to be changed, as a shirt sleeve got hooked on it and snapped off the top part of the tailpiece (can be fixed). Replacement has been installed, and it works as it should.
At the moment guitar is set up with the low action : low E 1.25 mm , high E 1mm (12th fret)
Strings are 11th gauge with halfrounds ready for some juicy lines to be played.
Guitar comes with SKB case /backpack (semi hardshell) , and original pm120 tailpiece (broken one).
I am selling it to fund new music gear. There is some wiggle room regarding the price, so feel free to drop your offers ;-)
Last month same one with the same lacquer crack got sold for 27990 NOK.
