Sought after Pat Metheny Signature model PM 120 Made in Japan in Natural colour.
I bought it used in 2020 and served me well. It’s a prestige line made in Japan, top of the line. Since 2013 they don’t make it anymore, therefore besides being fantastic hollow body jazz box, it is also investment as those only gain value.
This one is from 2002, and it has some obvious sign of use, but in general is in very good shape - both visually and technically.
There is a minor lacquer crack on the side of the nut visible on the picture, but it’s been there since I’ve bought it in 2020 , and it doesn’t cause any tuning issues, nor neck stability, and neither gets any bigger.
Unfortunately , the tailpiece has to be change, as shirt sleeve got hooked on it and the top part of the original one got snapped off.
I include the original, broken one in case you want to have it.
SKB case /backpack included (hence the lack of original one). It provides great protection, and it has back straps so you carry it on your backpack, however it is slightly too deep, and I put some fabric underneath the body to keep it nice and tight inside.
Last year, same model with same lacquer crack on the side of the nut got sold here on finn for 28000 NOK ( I have the old listing saved), despite it was lesser value as it was from the later batch (year 2005).
Because of the lack of original case, and trapeze I am selling it a bit cheaper, with still a little bit of room left for negotiations ;-)
At the moment guitar is set up with the low action : low E 1.25 mm , high E 1mm on the 12th.
Strings are 11th gauge with halfrounds ready for some juicy lines to be played.
