A classic black leather weekend bag from W & H Gidden, purchased directly from their shop on New Bond Street, London, in the mid-1990s.
W & H Gidden is a traditional British maker of fine leather goods. While the brand may be less familiar in Norway, it is known for robust craftsmanship, quality materials, and timeless design.
The bag is made from thick, supple leather with solid brass hardware stamped W & H Gidden, and features a traditional tartan-style fabric lining. The leather has developed a natural patina consistent with age and careful use. There are visible signs of wear to corners, straps, and hardware, as shown in the photographs, but no structural damage. All zips and fastenings function correctly.
