Exciting Opportunity for Experienced Metering Engineers

Jefferson Wells is recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced Instrument / Metering Senior Engineer. This is a long-term contract role where you will play a key part in metering design and package follow-up for a major new build project. If you have solid experience with metering systems and PRE responsibilities in greenfield oil and gas projects, this could be your next opportunity.
Tasks and Responsibilities

• Design, coordination and follow-up of metering package and system
• Act as Technical Responsible Engineer (PRE) for the metering package
• Follow up vendors and review technical documentation
• Ensure vendor information required for project progress is identified and communicated
• Participate in FAT and vendor surveys
• Prepare and complete engineering documents and data registers
• Interface with other disciplines and suppliers

Background and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in relevant engineering discipline
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in metering design/specification for greenfield offshore oil and gas projects
• Minimum 4 years’ experience with PRE activities and responsibilities in greenfield projects
• Extensive knowledge of metering design according to standards such as NORSOK, ATEX, PTIL, ISO and IEC
• Strong communication skills in English, both oral and written
• Cooperative attitude and ability to work in a multicultural team environment
• Independent, systematic and accurate, with strong commitment to deadlines and quality
• Proactive, sharing knowledge and seeking advice when needed
