Manufacturing Engineer / CAD

Metronor Industrial now seeks a Manufacturing Engineer with CAD capabilities to further strengthen our production team based in Asker, Norway. The right candidate will play an important role in professionalizing the production and further development of Metronor Industrial's product portfolio, in close collaboration with the software development team. While based in Asker, Norway, the manufacturing engineer will work in projects serving customers and projects worldwide.

Tasks:

• Participate in developing and improving Metronor Industrial's line of hardware products
• Maintaining our ERP system (Microsoft Dynamics) to ensure it reflects current product designs, stock and process status
• Securing availability, quality and continuous improvement of production, test and verification documentation
• Providing practical support to our Production department, particularly when introducing new or improved products, processes or procedures
• Contributing to ensure that customers continue to see Metronor as a world-class supplier
  

Wanted qualifications:

• Technical background, minimum a BSc degree or extensive practical experience, preferably within electronics or electro-mechanics
• Systematic personality, preferably with some practical project management experience
• Experience with electro-mechanical assemblies - through work or hobbies
• Interest in and experience with CAD (we use Solidworks)
• Good written and spoken English - Norwegian is an advantage but not a requirement
• Citizen of a NATO or EU country since birth - eligible for security clearance
