We are looking for a maintenance technician, electrician, or electronics technician to join our team. The role will primarily involve overseeing and maintaining the equipment within our facilities, which includes a wide range of machines, ensuring their proper functioning. You will be crucial in maintaining the operational quality of equipment and continuously seeking improvements in processes.

In this role, you will be part of a professionally stimulating environment, collaborating with cross-functional teams to support production schedules, troubleshoot system issues, and implement improvements that enhance both equipment efficiency and the quality of our products.

Main tasks:

• Maintenance and repair of diverse equipment and machines (filling machines, capping machines, freeze-dryers, HVAC systems, centrifuges, etc.)

• Monitoring and ensuring the proper functioning of different control systems and equipment.

• Performing routine preventive and corrective maintenance tasks.

• Ensuring the quality of systems and maintaining procedures.

• Participation in infrastructure and process improvement projects.

Qualifications:

• Education as a maintenance technician, electrician, electronics technician, or similar

• 2+ years hands on experience in maintaining machines, electrical and electronic equipment, preferably in an industrial environment, with exposure to regulated industries (pharmaceutical, food and beverage, or medical devices).

• Machine Tools: Basic knowledge of manual machine tools (e.g., lathes, milling machines) is helpful but not required.

• Manual Skills: Ability to perform basic manual tasks (e.g. carpentry, basic plumbing, soldering, etc.) to assist in the maintenance and modification of equipment.

• Freeze dryers experience is a plus

• Competence in IT tools, programing microcontrollers, CAD software, MS Office, etc.

• Safety: Comprehensive knowledge of industrial safety standards, including those specific to the pharmaceutical industry. Actively works to improve and ensure a safe working environment for all personnel.

• Proficiency in Norwegian and English, both written and spoken.

• Availability: Flexibility to work in shifts or be on call to address emergency maintenance needs outside of standard working hours.

• A responsible person with a positive attitude, good humor, and the ability to work proactively. Able to collaborate effectively with other departments and comfortably working with evolving technologies.

• Ability to thrive under pressure, handling multiple tasks simultaneously. Troubleshooting skills with a focus on minimizing downtime.

• Proactivity: Driven to identify opportunities for process optimization, preventive maintenance. Committed to continuous learning and technological development.

• Communication: Clear and concise reporting of maintenance activities and ability to document procedures.

• Make it up and make it happen: enthusiastic about design, modification and refurbishment of machines/equipment.
