Lead Strategic Planning for Offshore Wind Projects – Join as Planning Manager!

Location: Preferred offices in Asker, Haugesund, Bergen, or Stavanger
Contract Period: 05 January 2026 – 31 December 2026

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Planning Manager to lead strategic planning efforts for a major offshore wind project. In this role, you will be at the forefront of project execution, delivering actionable insights and streamlined schedules that enable stakeholders to make informed decisions. You will collaborate closely with the Project Management Team and report to the Business Manager and VP of Operations and Project Management.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the planning team, ensuring alignment across all schedule owners

• Translate planning and scheduling strategies into executable plans

• Ensure compliance with contractual and administrative requirements, including coordination with partners, subcontractors, suppliers, and third parties

• Monitor, analyze, and report project performance to stakeholders

• Communicate trends, critical path analyses, and the impact of scope changes, risks, and opportunities

• Foster collaboration across the project to ensure timely delivery of all scheduled scopes

Qualifications

• Education: Master’s degree in business administration or a technical discipline, or equivalent experience

• Experience:

  • 10+ years leading planning teams on international projects

  • Proven track record in strategic planning and schedule management for complex projects

  • Offshore or construction experience is an advantage

  • Experience with product planning and scheduling for system solutions is a plus

• Skills:

  • Strong communication, analytical, and technical abilities

  • Ability to lead teams through change and ensure schedule ownership

  • Skilled at translating complex changes into predictable outcomes
