As part of our mechanical engineering team, you’ll work closely with experts across disciplines to deliver next-generation electrified systems that make operations safer, smarter, and more efficient. Are you ready to take the next step in your career and become a key player in our journey?

Duties and responsibilities
- 3D modelling in Autodesk products (Inventor, Vault etc)
- Design and perform calculations for handling equipment such as Cranes (electric and hydraulic), Gangways, Launch and Recovery Systems, and Winches according to specifications and budgets
- FEM analysis (ANSYS) and manual calculations (Excel, Mathcad etc.), including documentation
- Assist the Concepts and Solutions department with technical expertise and contribute during sales and pre-engineering phases
- Prepare production documentation (2D drawings)
- Participate in populating and driving the quality of the Seaonics Product Library
- Documentation for class approvals
- Participate in production of technical documentation for installation parties and end-users
- Cooperation with procurement and outsourcing department, contact with suppliers for specification and selection of components and clarifications/supporting the Production Follow Up Team who is present with our manufacturing partners around the world
- Perform model, drawing, and structural checks of designs made by your colleagues
- Participate in cross-discipline cooperation during project detailing phase
Qualifications
- University degree (3-5 years) in mechanical engineering or similar degree
- Good statics skills and strong in mechanical subjects and machine design
- General interest for mechanics and technology
- 3+ years of relevant work experience in mechanical engineering or similar
