Jefferson Wells is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer specializing in high-voltage systems for a long-term assignment in Asker. This role requires strong expertise in offshore electrification projects and high-voltage packages such as transformers, GIS, and VSD. Tasks and Responsibilities

• Design and specify electrical system solutions and strategies for projects during study, FEED, and detailed phases.
• Collaborate closely with project and company representatives across disciplines.
• Manage electrification scope including land cables, subsea cables, and HV equipment in onshore and offshore substations.
• Prepare Main Power Supply Package Specification, ensuring compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and project requirements.
• Oversee high-voltage packages (transformers, GIS, VSD) from development through execution, including engineering, fabrication, logistics, installation, and handover.
• Assist in designing electrical philosophies, typologies, single line diagrams, load lists, system descriptions, and PMS/PDCS systems.
• Follow up on electrical system calculations, analyses, and assessments.

Background and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in electrical engineering for Norwegian continental shelf projects.
• Extensive experience with high-voltage packages (transformers, GIS, VSD).
• Strong knowledge of electrical system analysis and transmission systems.
• Proven experience in offshore electrification projects and large-scale conceptual and detailed engineering.
• Familiarity with standards such as NORSOK, ATEX, PTIL, ISO, DNV, IEC.
• EX Basic course and FSE with first aid.
• Excellent communication skills in English (oral and written); Norwegian proficiency is an advantage.
