Glamox, marine offshore and wind is seeking a Product Developer Software to join our dedicated R&D team. This is a key role within our organization to our business - where you will be involved in the design and development of software solutions for our advanced light solutions such as our searchlight platforms, contributing to cutting-edge technology used in marine, offshore, and defence applications.

You will be part of a collaborative and forward-thinking environment where your technical expertise directly influences product quality, performance, and innovation.
 Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop software for the next-generation searchlight platform, including embedded systems, Linux systems 

• Participate in system integration activities to ensure seamless interaction between hardware and software components

• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate build, test, and deployment processes for improved development efficiency and reliability

• Contribute to the implementation of cybersecurity measures to protect systems and data

• Develop and optimize of video processing features

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, reliable solutions

• Participate in code reviews, testing, and documentation to ensure maintainable and scalable software

• Contribute to software development within other product categories when needed

Desired Qualifications:

• Minimum bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electronics, or a related field

• Minimum 2–5 years of relevant experience in software development

• Proficiency in one or more of the following areas: embedded systems, Linux development

• Skilled in C/C++, Python, and JavaScript/TypeScript

• Strong understanding of system integration and cybersecurity principles

• Familiarity with video processing technologies is an advantage

• Fluent communication skills in English (Swedish, Norwegian a bonus)
