Your Role

In this role, you ensure 24/7 operational reliability by leading all aspects of critical data centre infrastructure - including power, cooling, safety, and building systems - to maintain over 99.999% uptime. You lead and develop the local engineering teams working in a 24/7 shift model, fostering performance, safety, and operational excellence. You drive projects and continuous improvement initiatives, overseeing facility upgrades, maintenance programs, and capacity planning to support business growth and efficiency. Additionally, you manage vendors and budgets, controlling operational spending while ensuring contractors and service providers meet the highest technical, compliance, and quality standards. You also take charge of incident response, troubleshooting, and disaster recovery efforts to ensure business continuity and effectively mitigate risks efficiency.

Your Profile

• Minimum of 5 years of data center operations or mission-critical facility management experience, including leading 24x7 technical teams

• In‐depth knowledge of power and mechanical systems - UPS, generators, switchgear, chillers, cooling towers, CRAC units, building automation, and life-safety equipment

• Proven project management and vendor coordination skills, with experience overseeing maintenance schedules and budget control

• Expert troubleshooting and root-cause analysis abilities for electrical and mechanical system failures

• Excellent communication skills for collaborating with senior leadership, vendors, service partners, and cross-functional teams

• Competence in documenting, monitoring, and reporting maintenance activities, incidents, and compliance for audit readiness

• Proficiency in English for internal communication and Norwegian for collaboration with vendors and local contractors
