Concept Development Lead

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Concept Development Lead to join our Offshore & Special Purpose team. In this role, you will be a key contributor in early-phase operational concept development, helping shape the future of offshore operations, ocean research, and subsea systems.

As Concept Development Lead, you will represent Offshore & Special Purpose in both internal and external development projects and programs across Kongsberg Maritime. You will play a central role in developing integrated solutions, while bringing valuable insights and ideas back to our department.

Key responsibilities include:

• Engaging with clients and stakeholders to understand operational needs

• Evaluating and lead/participating in relevant internal development programs

• Providing sales support and technical assistance to sales and products team

• Assessing and developing customer-initiated ideas and concepts

• Contributing to continuous improvement and innovation

• Lead the collaboration with our partners and suppliers in both design activities and development of offshore operations.

Qualifications and experience

• Higher education is an advantage, but not required

• Solid understanding of offshore operations and the ability to quickly grasp complex challenges

• Familiarity with our products is an advantage, but not a requirement

• Relevant network and preferably experience from operational activities

• Capable of preparing and delivering high-quality documentation

This employment may require security clearance by the Norwegian National Security Authority, clearance through Civil Aviation Authority or a background check.
