Senior .Net/Azure Developer - Drive innovation in the Nordics

PRA Group, headquartered in Oslo, is seeking a highly skilled and proactive Senior .NET/Azure Developer to join our core development team. Over the past three years, we have successfully developed a modern, innovative platform for applications, unifying all essential internal and external systems. Now, we are entering the next phase of this journey. We need your expertise to expand our capabilities, focus on proactive feature development, and continue our architectural improvements.

The Role: Impact and Environment

You will step into a small, powerful team of four seasoned senior developers, all with 10+ years of experience. Your contributions will directly influence our operations across Norway and the other Nordic countries. This role is highly collaborative, placing you within cross-functional teams working closely with both enterprise and data engineers to architect and build better, high-impact solutions.

We value developers who are not only technically excellent but also enjoy dialogue with the business side, translating complex business challenges into elegant technical specifications and vice versa. Key Responsibilities and Deliverables

• Architect and Develop: Design, develop, and maintain high-quality, performant software solutions using C# and the latest .NET technologies.
• Cloud Leadership: Utilize and optimize a wide range of Microsoft Azure services (including Azure Functions, App Services, Azure SQL DB, and Azure Data Factory) to build scalable, resilient cloud-native applications.
• Performance & Security: Implement best practices for software development, focusing on optimizing application performance, scalability, and security by applying modern Azure architecture patterns.
• Collaboration: Collaborate closely with stakeholders and cross-functional teams to refine requirements and define robust technical specifications.
• Quality & Standards: Champion software quality through rigorous code reviews, comprehensive unit testing, and meticulous documentation.
• Mentorship & Guidance: Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, providing support and architectural guidance within the broader developer community.
• Future Focus: Stay ahead of the curve on emerging Azure technologies and industry trends, continuously driving improvement in our development processes and tech stack.
• Agile Contribution: Actively participate in all Agile ceremonies, contributing strategically to planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
