We are looking for an OpenShift Architect!

About the role

We’re looking for an experienced OpenShift Architect to design and implement robust containerized solutions tailored for AI/ML workloads. This role combines technical depth with architectural vision, ensuring secure, scalable, and high-performing environments for advanced applications. What You'll Do:

• Understand customer requirements and design technical solutions that meet business needs.

• Architect OpenShift clusters, including master and worker nodes, storage, networking, and security configurations.

• Implement CI/CD pipelines for AI/ML model development, training, and deployment.

• Optimize resource allocation (CPU, memory, GPU) for demanding AI/ML workloads.

• Apply OpenShift Operators to automate and manage platform components.

• Ensure security through container image scanning, RBAC, and network isolation.

• Deploy monitoring and observability tools for AI clusters.

• Collaborate with data scientists, ML engineers, and operations teams for seamless integration.

• Troubleshoot major incidents and ensure high availability and performance.

What We Are Looking For:

• Experience with monitoring and alerting stacks (Prometheus, ELK, Grafana).

• Strong understanding of OpenShift components and architecture.

• Experience integrating AI/ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Jupyter Notebooks) with OpenShift.

• Hands-on experience with automation technologies and OpenShift APIs.

• Ability to implement robust monitoring and logging solutions.

• Expertise in RBAC for secure access management.

• ·Must have strong hands-on experience with on-prem OpenShift clusters (not managed services like ARO or ROSA). 

• Should understand platform architecture, lifecycle management, automation, and cluster operations. 

• Experience with AI, GPU integration, OpenShift AI, and multi-cluster management (ACM/ACS) is highly desirable. 

• Expected to use Ansible and GitOps workflows for consistent, automated configuration and operations. 

• Keycloak, KMS/Vault, OCP storage (CSIs) and network (CNIs)

IMPORTANT! Norwegian citizenship with a minimum of 10 years of continuous residency in Norway is an absolute requirement for this role since security clearance will be mandatory.

Nice To Have:

• Knowledge of GPU orchestration (MIG instance creation).

• RedHat OpenShift AI experience.

• RedHat certification on OpenShift Administrator.

Experience:

Ideally around 7+ years in relevant roles.
