Position Description:

The General Manager of Score AS will lead and grow Score Norway, driving strategic initiatives and fostering a culture of innovation and excellence. You will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our operations in Norway, contributing to our mission of delivering exceptional value to our clients.

You will be accountable for the overall management of the business in Norway, taking responsibility for leading and managing employees, HSEQ performance, and financial responsibilities for the business, supported by the leadership team from Score Europe & Africa.

You will also take the lead for business development in Norway and the wider Scandinavia, managing and developing key accounts with Major Contractors, End Users, Engineering Consultants, Design Houses, Supply Houses, Distributors, and Resellers in all industries.

Main Roles & Responsibilities:

• Accountable to lead and manage the Score AS team including the setting and management of team objectives, development of the people and ensuring that their day-to-day workloads contribute effectively to the overall success of the business.

• Deliver profitable growth in Score AS by expanding market share and improving profit margins, whilst managing and mitigating commercial and technical risks.

• Ownership and accountability for the strategic growth plan for new products and services within Norway and Scandinavia through to execution.

• Develop and implement processes to ensure the Company becomes and remains fit for the future capability and capacity for the current business requirements that supports/enables business growth.

• Identifying and driving strategic initiatives or processes across key functions on the business.

Qualifications:

• A bachelor’s degree in a business discipline or equivalent experience is required for this role. Candidates with equivalent experience are encouraged to apply.

• Strong Leadership skills are essential with the ability to build trust at all levels within the Group.

• Proven analytical and complex problem-solving skills and abilities.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Norwegian & English.

• Ability to be proactive, pragmatic and deliver results.

Experience:

• Track record of identifying and delivering new business projects/opportunities.

• Minimum 10 years’ experience working in management/operations/finance

• Previous experience of the Oil, Gas and Energy industry is essential.
