Jefferson Wells is recruiting skilled automation engineers with 3–5 years of experience in PLC programming. You will be part of long-term assignments with several exciting clients in Oslo, contributing to impactful engineering deliveries in a dynamic and collaborative environment.
Tasks and Responsibilities

• Programming and configuration of PLC-based control systems
• Development of functional descriptions and testing procedures
• Execution of HW/SW design, implementation, testing and commissioning (onshore/offshore)
• Evaluation and approval of technical documentation
• Participation in service trips and site activities
• Monitoring and reporting on progress of assigned work packages

Background and Qualifications

• BSc or MSc in Automation, Cybernetics, or related field
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience with PLC programming
• Experience with ABB 800xA or Siemens SIMATIC PCS7/S7
• Familiarity with control system setup and HMI programming
• Ability to read and understand system control diagrams (SCD)
• Experience from EICT projects in oil & gas or process industries is an advantage
• Knowledge of industry standards such as NORSOK is beneficial
• Strong communication skills in English; Norwegian is a plus
