Join a Long-Term Project with International Reach

Jefferson Wells is recruiting a Senior Instrument Engineer for a long-term assignment with one of our clients. The position is based in Oslo, but remote work is possible. Fluency in both English and French is required, and the role involves travel to France.
Tasks and Responsibilities

• Provide guidance to engineers on material selection and design solutions in accordance with French regulations.
• Conduct site surveys to identify optimal design solutions in collaboration with installation contractors and operations personnel.
• Prepare and deliver technical documentation in line with client specifications.
• Specify materials and bulk items for installation packages.
• Collaborate closely with other disciplines and the client.
• Travel to France is expected.

Background and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant engineering discipline.
• Alternatively, a technical college degree combined with at least 12 years of relevant engineering experience.
• Fluency in both English and French is mandatory.
• Strong competence in French regulatory requirements within instrumentation is essential.
• Required: MS Office
• Preferred: PIMS
