House keeper/waiter for family mountain lodge in the Lillehammer mountains winter season housekeppers/

We are now looking for two new colleagues - good friends or a couple - who know each other well and can share a double room in our staff house to join our international service team for the upcoming winter season.

Who we are looking for

• Must be over 20 years of age

• You have solid experience in the hospitality industry, especially in housekeeping and food service

• You are friendly, positive, and able to work independently

• You enjoy making guests feel welcome and appreciated

• You are professional and personal in your interactions with guests and colleagues

• You are flexible, adaptable, and ready for busy days in the mountains

• You enjoy nature and preferably cross-country skiing, as Lillehammer Fjellstue is located in a ski area

• You speak English (our working language), and other language skills are a plus

• You like living in a share house.

A typical workday

• Morning to midday: housekeeping (cleaning cabins and hotel rooms) or breakfast service in the restaurant

• Afternoon to evening: dinner service at aoyr evening buffet

• Some days are shorter, others longer -- but a full-time position is guaranteed.

Your main responsibilities

• Cleaning and preparing hotel rooms and common areas

• Cleaning and preparing rental cabins and apartments

• Serving the breakfast buffet in the restaurant, followed by cleaning

• Serving the evening buffet in the restaurant, followed by cleaning

Lillehammer Fjellstue og Hytteutleie is located at Nordseter in Lillehammerfjellet in the middle of one of Norway's best ski terrain for cross county skiing. The lodge is owned and run by a family who is very happy in Nordseter, and the employees become part of the family. Guests are served breakfast buffet and a light evening buffet daily.

The company has about 200 beds divided into mountain cabins, holiday apartments and hotel rooms, and has a mountain lodge with a restaurant and cozy lounges.

Customer care is important to us and we set high standards for the service attitude of our hosts and employees. We have good ratings on Booking.com, Hotels.com and Trip Advisor (Travellers Choise 9 years in a row), and our employees must aim to become even better together with us.

We have an international service team that works for us, some of whom have come every winter for 10 years to attend our winter team, all living in a sharing house on the property.
