Join Our Securities Finance Team in Norway!

Danske Bank is expanding its Securities Finance capabilities in Norway and we’re looking for a skilled professional to help shape our business. Depending on your experience and ambitions, the role can be tailored either as Head of Securities Finance, Norway or as a Securities Finance Specialist within our growing Nordic team.

About Securities Finance

Securities Finance is a part of Danske Bank’s global Equity franchise, serving a well-diversified client portfolio consisting of institutional and corporate clients as well as family offices in the Nordics and beyond. The team advise and help clients with standardized and tailormade financing structures as well as efficient solutions in order to create delta one exposure. We also offer Securities Lending in order to facilitate short exposure and help clients to extract a convenience yield on their portfolios. Securities Finance works closely with our clients to find the most effective solutions and we drive the development in the bank to offer new and innovative products to the market.

Collaboration is at the heart of how we work, both with our clients and across the bank, including with Trading, Research, Sales and our Risk departments. Our setup enables close cooperation with colleagues in Copenhagen, Stockholm, Helsinki, London and New York, providing an international and dynamic work environment.

About the Role

We are seeking a driven and skilled professional who will play a key role in improving Danske Bank’s Securities Finance business in Norway. Depending on your background and experience, your focus could range from leading client relationships and business development to supporting system, process and product improvements in close collaboration with our Nordic platform.

Typical responsibilities may include:

• Managing and nurturing relationships with corporate and institutional clients as well as family offices

• Developing relevant products and solutions for the Norwegian market

• Driving collaboration with colleagues across the Nordics and global hubs

• Supporting the daily management of client portfolios and transactions

• Contributing to process and system development to enhance our platform

Who We Are Looking For?

We welcome applications from both experienced professionals and ambitious talents with a strong interest in financial markets.

You might be:

• An experienced Securities Finance professional (10+ years) ready to take on a leadership role and drive the Norwegian business, or

• A mid-level candidate (2–6 years) eager to deepen your expertise in securities finance and develop towards a broader, more senior role over time
