Marine Hybrid Solutions is an industrial startup driving the green transition in maritime through innovative, integrated solutions for energy, power, automation and data.

We're seeking a Principal Systems Engineer - Electrical to take technical leadership of our system deliveries. The role will have significant autonomy to shape and develop the company’s delivery model for system deliveries, as well as coaching and mentoring project engineers. The role will have opportunities for hands-on engineering and traveling in supporting our project deliveries as we scale and expand our organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and shape our system delivery model, using industry best practices and innovation, helping us get it right from the start

• Coach and mentor juniors in the delivery organization as we scale

• Lead electrical system project delivery from specification through commissioning as required

• Work closely with the technical team to translate technical designs into executable projects

• Ensure our deliveries are compliant and meet classification society requirements

• Provide technical expertise in sales and tender processes

• Contribute to product strategy and technology roadmap development

Required Qualifications

• 12+ years experience in electrical engineering with maritime/offshore project focus

• Proven experience delivering marine electrical projects (machines, drives, energy storage integration)

• Knowledge of maritime electrical standards

• Experience with hybrid electric power trains

• Experience with power management systems and automation platforms

• Proficiency in electrical engineering tools

• Understanding of maritime industry players (yards, owners, equipment suppliers)
