Group Internal Auditor

The Group Internal Audit department is seeking a highly motivated internal auditor. You will be part of an international environment, with the main responsibility of conducting internal audits of internal controls over financial reporting (ICOFR) for selected companies within the group. You will work closely with the rest of the internal audit team, as well as with other departments within Group Finance.

The position reports to the Director of Group Internal Audit

Key responsibilities:

• Plan, perform and complete internal audits
• Obtain an understanding of the various processes, risks and financial figures within the audited entity
• Evaluate internal control gaps / deficiencies and recommend improvements to ensure entities comply with the ICOFR
• Lead internal audit teams and make sure we deliver on quality on time
• Be responsible for reviewing and ensuring the quality of working papers and formal audit reports
• Follow up on management’s responses within the audited entity
• Contribute to training and provide professional support within the department
• Participate in projects and other tasks related to internal audit/ICOFR
• Perform ICOFR audits

To succeed in this role, we believe you have:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in accounting and auditing, or related fields
• 4–5 years of relevant experience in external / internal audit
• Strong skills in internal control regulations and compliance frameworks, e.g., Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX / J-SOX)
• Experience and solid knowledge of IFRS
• Good business understanding and focus on continuous improvements
• Experience with and interest in using tools to increase digitalization and automation
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Independent, proactive, and accurate
• English is our working language, so fluency in written and spoken English is essential.

The candidate must be prepared for business travel as part of the role.
