As Aker Solutions’ global recruitment partner NES Advantage is now looking for: Engineer - Instrument at Stord.

Aker Solutions’ New Build segment delivers oil & gas and renewables offshore developments and fabrication products, mainly focused on the Norwegian Continental Shelf and selective international markets. The segment is responsible for large EPCI projects, both within oil and gas and renewables, including business development and project execution, typically large topsides including fixed or floating substructures, onshore facilities, FPSOs offshore wind HVDC topside and jackets, offshore aquaculture floaters and decommissioning and recycling.

What You Will Be Doing

• Verify engineering and vendor documentation and provide feedback on discrepancies

• Ensure building methods are implemented in EIT shop engineering

• Prepare and divide EIT work packages for efficient production

• Verify installation locations and HSSE-friendly design in 3D model (PDMS)

• Follow up on DCNs and ensure updates are implemented

• Coordinate interfaces across disciplines, suppliers, subcontractors, and planning

• Promote strong HSSE performance throughout the work

• Interface with IT/IS systems like E3D/Navis, MIPS, and engineering registers

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

• Experience with DAK tools and basic computing

• Familiarity with “as-built” and mechanical interface drawings

• Software skills: MS Office 365, MIPS, E3D

• Valid certifications: FSEL course, First Aid (practical), EX course

• Language: English and Scandinavian

• Knowledge of instrument equipment and tubing
