Role Overview

As Production Manager, you will be responsible for leading the planning, coordination, and execution of the helicopter maintenance activities. You will collaborate closely with your team to ensure regulatory compliance and efficient production scheduling. In this dynamic operational environment, you will support a team of dedicated maintenance staff to maintain the highest standards of safety and performance.

Reporting Structure

The Production Manager reports directly to the Maintenance Manager.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise daily helicopter maintenance operations

• Ensure full compliance with EASA and national aviation regulations

• Coordinate with customers to understand their needs and align maintenance activities accordingly

• Monitor and optimize hangar visit plans and turnaround times

• Oversee maintenance documentation, tooling, and inventory management

• Promote a strong safety culture and ensure the continued airworthiness of all aircraft

• Mentor, support, and develop a skilled team of maintenance staff

Requirements

• Valid EASA Part-66 AML with B1.3 and/or B2 category

• Proven experience in helicopter maintenance and team leadership

• Excellent communication skills in spoken and written English

• Strong knowledge of aviation maintenance EASA regulations, procedures, and safety standards

• Proficiency in maintenance management software (preferably Gannet 3)

• Ability to perform under pressure and manage time-critical maintenance tasks
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Type ratings for Leonardo AW139, AW189, and AW169 included in the EASA Part-66 AML

• Fluency in a Scandinavian language (Norwegian, Swedish, or Danish)

• Experience in offshore helicopter operations

• Degree or diploma in aviation maintenance or engineering

• Familiarity with Safety Management Systems (SMS) and ISO 9001/14001 standards

• Standard working hours (Monday-Friday) with occasional shift work as required.

NAS provides maintenance services for Leonardo AW139, AW169, and AW189 helicopters, with a focus on the Nordic and European markets.
