Project Manager – Technical Projects in the Defense Industry

Boresight and Alignment Solutions AS is hiring a Project Manager to lead multiple projects, including both standard system deliveries and new developments. The Project Manager will plan, coordinate, and execute projects on schedule and within budget.

All projects shall be executed according to the company's ISO 9001 quality management system.

Key responsibilities

• Lead projects from contract initiation through client handover

• Manage budgets, procurement, assembly, testing, verification, and final delivery

• Organize and facilitate project meetings

• Coordinate resources and schedules with other Project Managers

• Develop and maintain supplier relationships and ensure supplier follow-up

• Occasional travel required, including potential international assignments

• Participate in the tender phase

Qualifications and experience

• Minimum of 2–3 years’ experience of effective collaboration within project teams

• Strong grasp of technical concepts
  

Desirable qualifications and experience

• Bachelor or higher educational degree in engineering, preferably within mechanical, civil or similar.

• Team or project management experience

• Defense industry experience

• Managing suppliers throughout the procurement process

• Knowledge of materials and manufacturing methods

• Electronics background

• Driver's License
