As Aker Solutions’ global recruitment partner NES Advantage is now looking for several: Insulation Engineers at Stord.
 
This position follows a 15/13 rotation or Monday-Friday plan.


Aker Solutions’ New Build segment delivers oil & gas and renewables offshore developments and fabrication products, mainly focused on the Norwegian Continental Shelf and selective international markets. The segment is responsible for large EPCI projects, both within oil and gas and renewables, including business development and project execution, typically large topsides including fixed or floating substructures, onshore facilities, FPSOs offshore wind HVDC topside and jackets, offshore aquaculture floaters and decommissioning and recycling.

 What will you be doing?

• Prepare and ensure the right quality on hook-up job packages in accordance with project requirements

• Ensure that the building method is implemented

• Follow up and ensure that all changes are implemented in the work packages

We think you should have:

• Solid experience in both insulation and hook-up operations (main evaluation criteria)

• Theoretical knowledge and understanding of piping & equipment insulation work and requirements

• Familiarity with MIPS and PIMS (main evaluation criteria), as well as CCS and 3D

• Experience preparing hook-up job packages (Fab. Eng. scope)

• Knowledge of applicable project documents, standards, and specifications

• Bachelor’s / Master’s degree or technician with relevant skills – relevant experience may compensate for formal education

• Fluency in English and Norwegian, both verbal and written

• Good collaboration skills and ability to work independently

• Strong work ethic and proactive attitude
