Vendor Manager

Lendo Group is at a pivotal moment. As we prepare for a carve-out from our parent company, Vend, we need to build our own operational foundation, which includes establishing direct relationships with key service providers. We are looking for a skilled Vendor Manager to lead this effort, specifically for our IT, HR, and Finance functions.

This is a unique opportunity to build and own our vendor ecosystem. Reporting to the Head of IT Security & Governance, you will not only be responsible for procurement and performance but also for ensuring our third-party relationships are secure, compliant, and robust.

This position can be located in Stockholm or Oslo.

What You'll Do

• Lead the Sourcing and Procurement Process: Identify, evaluate, and select new vendors for core IT, HR, and Finance services, with a strong focus on security, compliance, and risk.
• Conduct Security & Compliance Due Diligence: Perform initial security assessments and ongoing monitoring of vendors to ensure they meet Lendo Group's security and regulatory requirements.
• Negotiate and Manage Contracts: Finalize vendor agreements, ensuring that contracts include strong security clauses, service level agreements (SLAs), and clear termination rights.
• Oversee Implementation: Manage the onboarding and integration of new vendor services, coordinating with internal teams to ensure a smooth transition from our parent company.
• Manage Vendor Performance & Risk: Proactively monitor vendor performance and security posture. Conduct regular business reviews and risk assessments to ensure continuous adherence to our standards.
• Build Relationships: Act as the primary point of contact for external partners, fostering strong, collaborative relationships while ensuring accountability.

Who We Believe You Are

• An experienced professional with a proven track record in vendor management, procurement, or a related field.
• You have a strong understanding of IT security principles, risk management, and regulatory compliance (e.g., GDPR).
• A natural negotiator with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Highly organized and comfortable managing multiple projects and priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
• Someone with an understanding of IT, HR, and Finance systems and services is highly beneficial.
• We believe you speak, write and understand Swedish or Norwegian.
