GreenH is hiring: Engineering Manager and Two Project Managers
1) Engineering Manager:
The Engineering Manager reports to the CTO and the Project Manager for the respective projects. The role involves providing technical leadership, establishing technical requirements, and acting as the link between GreenH and the company’s partners for selected projects.
Key responsibilities include concept development, preparing technical specifications, developing GreenH’s guidelines and technical documentation for hydrogen plants, and overseeing the engineering design of selected projects. The Engineering Manager will also be responsible for follow-up and management of contractors and internal technical resources.
The position further contributes to strategic marketing initiatives and technical due diligence, while ensuring quality, close collaboration, and efficient workflows from subcontractors in accordance with GreenH’s requirements.
Responsibilities
Technical specifications and development of GreenH’s governing technical documents for hydrogen facilities
Responsible for engineering on selected GreenH project(s)
Quality deliverables from GreenH’s subcontractors, meeting GreenH’s requirements
Manage internal technical resources on selected GreenH project(s)
Safe, robust, and cost-effective plant design
Coordination, planning, and reporting of all engineering activities within the project
Coordination, follow-up, and communication with subcontractors
Coordinate technical work and ensure quality of deliverables across the project
Establish and implement procedures and instructions
Main Tasks
General hydrogen concept and design development
Establish SoW for process plant design-related activities to be performed by subcontractors
Management of subcontracted work (scope, schedule)
Perform technology qualification as required
Vendor selection for key equipment and system packages
Participate in due diligence sessions and general marketing
Day-to-day management of internal technical resources on selected GreenH project(s)
Qualifications
Relevant master’s degree, preferably within electrical or technical safety
Experience from engineering and/or study management
Service-minded, communicative, and strong team collaboration skills
Minimum 10 years of professional experience with proven results
Experience within renewable energy and/or oil and gas is desirable
Fluent in both Norwegian and English
2) Project Managers:
The Project Manager will provide the necessary skills and competence to lead and coordinate project development and execution. This involves project assessments, planning, budgeting and management of GreenH project team, subcontractors and other stakeholders. We are looking for a Project Manager with strong technical skills to join our growing team.
The Project Manager will also participate with project expertise to the Business Development team, supporting marketing efforts and evaluating and maturing early-stage opportunities. The Project Manager will be overall responsible for single project in execution phase or multiple projects in early development phase, and reports to the COO.
Two positions:
Project Manager – Slagentangen: Responsible for leading the development and execution of GreenH’s hydrogen plant at Slagentangen in Tønsberg, and more projects in pipeline.
Project Manager – Kristiansund: Responsible for leading the development and execution of GreenH’s hydrogen plant in Kristiansund, and more projects in pipeline.
Main tasks
Project Leadership: Lead development of projects to investment decision, execution, and handover to Operations.
Planning & Control: Develop project concepts, plans, budgets (CAPEX), and schedules. Ensure projects stay on track with scope, time, and financial targets.
Infrastructure & Permitting: Oversee infrastructure assessments, permitting processes, and coordinate subcontractors and authorities.
Execution & Delivery: Ensure successful project completion, meeting technical, financial, and quality milestones.
Stakeholder Management: Build strong collaboration with internal teams, suppliers, consultants, and regulatory authorities.
Risk, Quality & HSSE: Identify and mitigate risks, ensure compliance with HSSEQ standards, maintain quality, and promote a safe working environment.
Team Leadership: Lead project teams, ensuring effective collaboration, reporting, and continuous learning.
Responsibilities
Lead project development of GreenH’s hydrogen projects and contribute with project expertise across all GreenH activities.
Project Development and Preparation:
Provide project expertise in evaluating and maturing early-stage project opportunities.
Coordinate and lead multifunctional teams towards project investment decision.
Develop project goals, plans, and budgets (CAPEX estimates).
Ensure adherence to project development budgets and time schedules.
Identify, analyze, problem-solve, and overcome barriers to bring projects to investment decision.
Project Execution:
Project Management: Coordinate and lead multifunctional teams through all phases of project execution, from investment decision to completion and handover to Operations.
Project Delivery: Ensure successful completion of projects, meeting all technical, financial, and time-based milestones.
Proactively identify, analyze, problem-solve, and overcome barriers to ensure project completion.
Resource Allocation: Secure effective allocation and utilization of resources, including personnel, technology, and budget.
Compliance: Ensure full compliance with relevant laws, regulations, internal policies, and recognized industry standards.
Skills and Qualifications
Leadership Skills: Independently drive processes forward, overcome barriers, and deliver results with proven outcomes.
Problem Solving: Ability to quickly analyze complex problems, identify alternatives, and implement effective solutions.
Operational Discipline: Structured way of working, able to manage multiple priorities, set routines, and meet deadlines and targets.
Collaboration: Strong track record of building and leading diverse teams to achieve results. Works effectively across functions, both as a leader and as a team member.
Education: 3–5 years of higher education within Engineering (BSc or MSc).
Work Experience: 7+ years of relevant experience, preferably from oil & gas, renewable energy, process facilities, or technical projects.
Management Experience: Minimum 3 years in a leading role within technical projects.

We are now looking to strengthen our organization with two Project Managers and one Engineering Manager who can help us develop and execute both existing and new projects.
