Position
Maria Nilsdotter is excited to open a new store in Oslo’s iconic Steen & Strøm and is now seeking an experienced and driven Store Manager to lead this store.

In this key role, you will be responsible for delivering an exceptional customer experience, achieving sales targets, managing daily store operations, and developing a high-performing team. Reporting directly to the Retail Manager, you will play a vital part in growing the Maria Nilsdotter brand in Norway. We are in an exciting phase of expansion and are looking for someone who is eager to grow with us.

What We’re Looking For

• A strong passion for the Maria Nilsdotter brand, with a sharp focus on sales and results

• Proven experience in premium or high-end retail, with a solid background in store management, team leadership, and clienteling

• A natural and confident communicator, able to adapt to various customers and situations

• A proactive mindset — you take initiative and work well independently

• Lead by example and clearly communicate goals and expectations to your team

• Highly structured and organized, with strong analytical skills and a data-driven approach to driving performance

• Thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and consistently deliver best-in-class service

Key Responsibilities

• Drive and exceed store sales targets

• Ensure every team member delivers a premium, personalized customer experience

• Implement and oversee the company's clienteling program to meet key performance indicators

• Oversee and manage daily store operations

• Recruit, train, lead, and motivate your team

• Analyze sales reports and KPIs, and take actions to improve performance

• Strengthen and represent the Maria Nilsdotter brand locally

• Ensure all visual merchandising and product presentation aligns with company standards

• Maintain optimal stock levels and store operational standards

Qualifications

• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and occasionally on short notice

• Experience in staff training and development, particularly in sales and customer service

• Fluent in Swedish or Norwegian
