Role Overview: As a Mechanical Package Engineer, you will join our dynamic team at REEL Norway AS, focusing on the engineering, coordination, and procurement of mechanical packages for our Gas and Fume Treatment Center. You will work with critical rotating and static equipment such as gas compressors, filtration units, separators, pressure vessels, heat exchangers, and utility systems, contributing to innovative solutions in the industry.

Key Responsibilities: You will play a crucial role in ensuring that all equipment packages not only meet technical requirements and industry codes but also align with project schedules from specification through delivery and site installation. Your expertise will drive the success and innovation of our projects.

Responsibilities:

• Review and implement requirements in contract documents, standards, and project documents.

• Prepare technical data, specifications, purchase requisitions, and as-built documentation.

• Evaluate supplier offers and provide technical support during negotiations.

• Follow up on vendor documentation and drawings.

• Support installation, completion, and commissioning on site.
  

Qualifications:

• University degree in Engineering (MSc, BSc or equivalent).

• Minimum 5 years of experience in an engineering or construction coordination position of heavy industrial equipment, preferably from the oil and gas industry.

• Fluent in Norwegian and English, both written and spoken.

• Good knowledge of relevant mechanical equipment

• Good organizational and coordination skills.
