Beskrivelse av varen
Tilstand: Pent brukt - I god stand
Nomad octave fuzz by Moose Electronics for sale in very good condition.
Hand made in the UK.
Never been gigged or left my home.
Super versatile for both bass and guitar as well as anything else you want to throw at it.
A take on the 70s Foxx Tone Machine as the jumping off point.
Instead of a one knob tone control with a permanent mid scoop there are treble and bass controls ala the vintage Matamp and Orange Amplifiers but optimized for extra low-end punch.
3 clipping modes: we have vintage Germanium diodes for the most compressed fuzz sound, then middle for most headroom and dynamics and lastly silicon diodes for a happy medium these two.
The octave doesn’t work by itself, you need to engage the fuzz in order to get the octave effect on top of it.
Comes with its original box.
From the Moose Electronics website:
Before releasing the Nomad into the world I built a whole bunch of octave up fuzzes including the Univox Super Fuzz, Ibanez Standard Fuzz, Foxx Tone Machine and Ampeg Scrambler to see which one worked best on bass. As much as I love the Beastie Boys Superfuzz bass tones, I found the Tone Machine worked best for me, while still having the classic 70s octave up fuzz vibe. My main complaint with the original circuit was that it lost a little low end and the scooped mids meant it got lost in the mix too easily. I thought about modding the original tone control but decided to try replace it with the modified Matamp style tone stack from the Sledgehammer. This worked amazingly well adding plenty of chunky midrange so I ran with it. The MK3 now has a parallel clean boost with a low pass filter (aka high cut) to blend in clean low end if and when it's needed. At minimum all clean is cut so you can have just the right amount of clean as you roll up the clean volume. If your after classic 70’s psych octave fuzz buzz like Flower Travelin Band - Satori then this is the pedal for you.
Current active users of note include Torsten of God Is An Astronaut, Billy Fuller of Beak>, Dav of Thumper, Matt of No Spill Blood, Tanya of Bismuth, Carlos of Fontaines DC, Ian of Squarehead, Rian and Scan of Panik Attaks, Moose of Wild Rocket, Richie (Jape) and The Redneck Manifesto, Barry of Bitch Falcon, David of Slomatics, Sarah of Pillow Queens, Lee of Idles, Jake and Stevie Lennox of Junk Drawer.
The pedal graphics are hand pulled screen prints on powder coated or hand sprayed cases.
All pedals are true bypass as standard and powered by the industry standard (boss style) negative tip 9V DC power supply. For best results use a reputable regulated pedal power supply.
