We are looking for a Senior Financial Analyst with experience and drive to identify and implement improvement initiatives to our systems and processes. Your primary responsibility will initially be the accounting and reporting of a joint venture portfolio, which includes both operated and partner-operated licenses, within our newly implemented SAP S/4 Hana system. The position provides unique exposure to Vår Energi's business operations and establishes a solid platform for future career development and increased responsibilities within the organisation.

Main Tasks

• Responsible for joint venture accounting in SAP S/4 Hana related to a diverse portfolio of exploration, development and production licenses

• Monitor and analyze cost

• Perform monthly close process, reporting, execute controls and ensure their effectiveness

• Collaborate with Planners/Cost controllers and provide input to corporate reporting

• Drive improvement initiatives related to internal processes and systems

• Contribute to coordination of incoming Joint Venture partner audits and manage inquiries from corporate audits

Qualifications

• Master's degree within relevant subjects

• 6-9 years relevant experience is preferred

• Knowledge of IFRS Accounting principles is an advantage

• Knowledge of SAP and advanced Excel skills
