Team Leader R&D

We are looking for a commercial oriented researcher or veterinarian to team up with our strong R&D team, experienced and interested in reproduction work on livestock and with an interest in spermatology.

Job content: 

The R&D team in SpermVital consists of highly committed researchers with master's and doctoral degrees in various fields, and together with the team, your focus will be:

• Relevant experimental productions and activities with subsequent analyzes (both in Norway and internationally) according to the Business Plan

• Extensive contact with partners, customers, and new leads internationally

• In general, new developments in line with the company’s strategy

• Management of co-financed projects (ex Norwegian Research Council) as well as new applications.

The company works closely with several scientific environments domestically, including SINTEF, NMBU, INN, Geno etc.

Your competence and skills: 

Beneficial is to have knowledge about reproduction work and field studies as well as statistical analysis. Understanding laboratory work and fertility management in general for different species is a plus.

We appreciate your good communication skills, your commitment and result orientation.

The position requires the ability to work independently and accurately. Good English skills is a must, and you have to count on frequent traveling, mostly internationally.

About the position 

The office is in Hamar, and we have access to the Geno AI center at Store Ree nearby for different developments.
